The room was larger and nicer than I’d expected. The AC appears older but worked fine for temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. I didn’t care for the pump dispenser soap, shampoo, & conditioner in the shower and disliked having a shower curtain to deal with even though it was a walk-in shower. I hated the lack of a shelf or bench or something to rest a foot on while shaving my legs.
I thought it was pretty short sighted to try to charge people $30 to check in early prior to 1:00 pm. We arrived around 12:30 pm. Shortly after 1:00 pm there was a long line of people, many of whom seemed kind of grumpy about the wait.
All of the staff members we encountered were great. We were even greeted by a hand-written note from housekeeping, welcoming us to the LINQ. In response to my note back and our tip we found a little box of Jelly Belly jelly beans waiting for us.
The location is very central and easy access to frozen Bailey’s ay O’Shea’s was almost too convenient!
